Quran Recitation È

One of the first events of this academic year was the Quran Recitation Competition. This was in keeping with the Holy month of Ramadan. We are very pleased indeed that all participants recited the verses very well.

Boys and girls participated enthusiastically in the Cookery Competition. The different categories were Salads, Fruit and Vegetable Carvings and cake decorations.

One of the important criteria for judging was the nutritional value and the use of fresh fruits and vegetable. To raise the level of the final dish the participants had to use at least 3 -4 ingredients in their salads and carvings.

We were honoured to have accomplished culinary experts as judges to assess the variety of dishes- Mr Sandeep , Managing Director of Claridge Hotel and Mr Asif .

Drawing & Colouring È

One of the important aspects of education is drawing and colouring. As a subject it provides an opportunity to all to express their thoughts aesthetically and very often brings to the forefront the potential of the child. We have some of the winners of the competition.

The school organizes a number of inter house activities throughout the year. This builds a spirit of cooperation, team spirit and a desire to excel.

Every year on Founder’s Day   the winning house is declared.

For the academic year 2009 – 2010 in the Primary Section it was the Mohammed House,

In the Girls’ Section it was the Ahmed House and in the Boys’ Section it was the Hamdan House.
